Expansion of the route network: new Air Montenegro flights

The Montenegrin airline Air Montenegro announced the launch of two new flights in summer 2025. Now from Podgorica it will be possible to fly directly to Prague and Baku. These destinations will complement the already existing flights from Tivat to the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.

Schedule of the new flights

  • Podgorica – Prague: from May 1, twice a week, and from June 21 – three times a week.
  • Podgorica – Baku: from June 7, once a week, until September 13.

Tickets are already on sale on the airline’s official website.

Why were these destinations chosen?

  • Prague – a popular tourist destination, in demand among both Montenegrins and Czech tourists.
  • Baku – a promising market that opens up new opportunities for tourists and business.

Air Montenegro management notes that both destinations were chosen in view of the growing demand for international flights.

The impact of new flights on tourism and the economy

  • An increase in tourist flow from the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.
  • The development of economic ties between the countries.
  • Increasing Montenegro’s attractiveness as an international aviation hub.

Air Montenegro’s future plans

The company is actively working on expanding its route network and is considering new destinations. In the future, flights to Germany, France, and the Scandinavian countries are possible. The launch of new flights to Prague and Baku is an important step in the development of Montenegrin aviation, which will help strengthen the country’s international ties and increase the influx of tourists.
