For families who rent an apartment, it is becoming increasingly difficult to pay for it, as rent in Montenegro is now twice as high as it was last year. Apartment owners took advantage of the arrival of Russians and Ukrainians and raised prices.
A sharp increase in rental prices in the capital and on the coast.
A year ago, the average price of a one-bedroom apartment in the center of Podgorica was 350 euros; now prices range from 600 to 700 euros. In other parts of the city, the price jump is not as large. In Tivat, Budva, and Kotor, a one-bedroom apartment can be rented for 500 to 700 euros.
Although this is difficult to predict, many real estate agents believe, that apartment rental prices will not rise in the near future.
