US President Joseph Biden said that he strongly supports the continuation of the process of accession of Western Balkan countries to the European Union (EU), the White House said in a statement.
It is stated that Biden, during a phone conversation with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about the Western Balkans, also reaffirmed support for the EU, a key partner of the United States.
The American president welcomed the resumption of cooperation between the US and the EU on the pandemic and efforts to address the climate crisis ahead of the summit in Glasgow at the end of October, сообщает Tanjug.
