Montenegro topped the ranking of countries with the fastest-rising housing prices, compiled by Global Property Guide.
According to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2021, the price of real estate in Montenegro rose by 32.4% compared with the figures for the same period in 2020. Among the countries with rapidly rising housing prices, adjusted for inflation, were also Sweden (+18 percent year-on-year), Australia — 16%, the Netherlands — 15.3%, and Puerto Rico — 14.6%.
The largest decline in housing prices compared with the same period last year was in the Philippines (-16.75%), Cambodia (-11.2%), Morocco (-7.45%), Peru (-5.58%), and São Paulo, Brazil (-5.51%), again adjusted for inflation.
