New quarantine measures are in effect in Montenegro until April 16

From April 10 to 16, new quarantine measures are in effect in Montenegro. The new measures have affected the rules for movement across all municipalities, and travel is now allowed. From April 10 to 16, new quarantine measures are in effect in Montenegro. The new measures affected the rules for movement across all municipalities; now they are allowed. All parks, recreation areas, and sports facilities are also open. The measures have been eased in Ulcinj, Bijelo Polje, Cetinje, and Bar. In these municipalities, shopping centers and gyms are open. The remaining measures remain in force without changes:

  1. Store opening hours are from 7:00 to 21:00.
  2. Curfew from 22:00 to 5:00. Exception: walking pets, but for no more than 60 minutes a day.
  3. It is forbidden to leave your municipality on weekends.
  4. Excursions, live music performances, children's playrooms, Ferris wheels, and amusement parks are allowed.
  5. Educational institutions will resume regular operations on April 12.
  6. Cruise ships are allowed to enter ports.
  7. Wearing masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory.

Important: residents of the municipalities of Nikšić and Šavnik are prohibited from leaving the territory of their municipality without a valid reason.

Rules for entering Montenegro

Entry into Montenegro is allowed with a PCR test no older than 48 hours, or with a positive IgG antibody test no older than 30 days, or with proof of having received the second dose of the vaccine at least seven days before entering Montenegro. These rules do not apply to those entering from Serbia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania.

Over the past 24 hours, 232 new coronavirus infections were registered. 376 patients recovered. 11 people died. The total number of currently active COVID-19 cases in Montenegro is 4,526.

Vaccination in Montenegro

At present in Montenegro vaccinated more than 35 thousand people with one dose of the vaccine and almost 7 thousand with two doses. This is more than 6% of the country's total population.
