42,000 doses of vaccines financed by the European Union will arrive in Montenegro from May through the end of August, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Twitter.

The European Commission and Austria announced the conclusion of an agreement on vaccine supplies for the Western Balkans. The European Commission is financing the delivery of 651,000 doses of BioNTech / Pfizer vaccines, which will be distributed with the support of Austria.

The first delivery to all partners in the region is expected in May, and the delivery of regular tranches will continue until August.
