Preliminary results on potential oil deposits during exploratory drilling on the Montenegrin shelf, which is being carried out by the consortium of companies Eni and Novatek, may be known at the end of September, said the state secretary of the Commission for Energy and Mineral Resources at the Ministry of Capital Investments, Marko Perunović.
Perunović said that the consortium of companies Eni and Novatek, which began its first exploratory drilling in the sea between Bar and Ulcinj in March 2021, is making successful progress in this endeavor.
“So far, 4.7 thousand meters of the well have been drilled,” — said Perunović during a working breakfast with journalists.
