Foreign companies are expected to invest 1.5 billion euros in Montenegro by 2022. This was reported by representatives of the Council of Foreign Investors. They also reminded that they had initiated many processes to improve the business environment.

“We began negotiations on forming a digital coalition, taking into account the fact that the digital transformation of business processes in Montenegro is key to improving the business environment. Therefore, the adoption of the Digital Transformation Strategy is of particular importance,” explained the Council.

When asked whether they expect changes in the business environment, they replied that the new government faced many challenges.

“We expect the government to continue improving the business environment and carrying out structural reforms,” they noted.

The Council of Foreign Investors participates in the work of the Competitiveness Council as the main advisory body in the field of improving the business environment.

“Business environment reforms in Montenegro must be implemented more effectively in order to create a favorable business climate and so that the entire economy of Montenegro can develop and recover faster,” the Council believes.
