An underground passage will connect the Old Town with the waterfront. The facility will be built in 5 months, and its cost is estimated at 1.4 million euros. On both sides of the tunnel, there will be two entrances and exits each — with escalators and elevators for people with disabilities.
The project will create more comfortable conditions for tourists arriving from cruise ships and reduce traffic jams on the highway along the waterfront. Source.
