The marina will provide fuel and water, electricity and communications. Yachts up to 300 m long will also be able to berth here. A two-storey building with a total area of 327 square meters is planned to be built on a 6,500-square-meter plot. The future building must be designed in accordance with the surrounding environment and with the use of local stone, wood and glass so as not to spoil the view of the Old Town. The authorities of Kotor believe that, due to the marina’s proximity to the Old Town and World Heritage sites, it will become an attractive place for tourists. This, in turn, will affect the increase in revenue and the development of maritime tourism.
