The State Enterprise for the Management of Marine Assets of Montenegro, as the body responsible for organizing public bathing areas on the Montenegrin coast, implements a special program for monitoring the sanitary quality of seawater at public bathing areas during the summer tourist season.
Seawater in Montenegro: quality analysis
The results of the analysis of seawater quality in Montenegro showed, that at 77.1% of beaches the seawater is of excellent quality, 13.8% — good, and in 9.2% of places the water quality is satisfactory.
