Following the recommendation of the Institute of Public Health, the start of the new school year in Montenegro is being postponed to October 1. As announced by the country’s Ministry of Education, this decision will also affect kindergartens.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Education stated that the start of the school year was set for September 1.
The decision to postpone the start of the new school year was made solely with the aim of protecting children’s health, following consultations with representatives of the relevant institutions – the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and the Institute of Education.
