Previously it was planned, that the hotel, the central part of the Portonovi complex, would begin operations on July 1. Construction at the site continues. Restrictive measures did not affect production processes. The hotel will feature 113 rooms — with spacious living rooms, panoramic windows, terraces, and fireplaces. Guests will have access to a sandy beach, a marina with 238 berths, the Espace Chenot Health Wellness Spa wellness center, a helipad, as well as various boutiques and shops. Several restaurants will open in the complex. Among them are Sabia, which will be headed by the famous chef Giorgio Locatelli, and Tapasake Club with Asian cuisine. The total investment in the project is estimated at 1 billion euros. The Portonovi area is 26 hectares. The developer is Azmont Investments. It was founded by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, which won a tender in 2012 for the development of the coastal site. Construction work in Kumbor began in 2016. Source.
