Easter services will be held across the country. The central service — at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica — will be conducted by Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral. A broadcast of the festive services is planned on the church’s official resources. “These days require discipline and responsibility from us, for ourselves and for our loved ones. I hope that believers will continue to observe the established rules and celebrate the bright holiday within their homes,” said Ivica Stanković, acting Chief State Prosecutor of Montenegro. The decision was made as part of measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.
