From May 20, Montenegro’s airports will be open to general aviation flights, which may be private or business in nature. This was announced by the Director of Montenegro Airports, Danilo Orlandic, on his Facebook profile.
“This is an important message for all of us in Montenegro and beyond, because it shows the state’s intention to open up to foreign citizens in a serious, responsible, and gradual way to welcome the tourist season,” Orlandic added.
Yesterday, the National Coordination Body (NKO) decided to soon open Montenegro’s airports for general aviation flights to Montenegro and from Montenegro. “Relevant instructions and orders will be issued tomorrow,” the NKO announced yesterday.
Current coronavirus epidemic situation: There have been no new COVID-19 infections in Montenegro over the past 14 days. Currently, 4 patients are receiving treatment. In order for the epidemic to be declared over, there must be 28 days with zero infections. The total number of cases is 324. The number of recovered patients is 311. And 4 more are still undergoing treatment: Ulcinj – 2 Gusinje – 1 Bijelo Polje – 1
