17% of Russians would like to move to another country for permanent residence, according to a survey conducted by the Romir center. Most of the respondents — 14 percent of those who would like to leave Russia — consider the United States as their top choice. Eight percent of respondents named Spain and Germany. Seven percent indicated Canada, and another seven percent found it difficult to answer, reports Lenta.ru. Five percent of respondents would choose Italy and Australia. Four percent of respondents expressed sympathy for Ukraine, Israel, Finland, as well as the option of “Europe as a whole”. France and Austria were named by three percent, as well as Montenegro, and Sweden, Thailand, India, Iceland, and Egypt by two percent. Source.
