In the first month of 2020, €8.7 million was invested in Montenegro’s real estate, with Russians accounting for €2.2 million. In January 2020, the inflow of foreign investment into the national economy amounted to €50.5 million — 14.5% less than a year earlier. Capital outflow was recorded at €8.4 million, the country’s Central Bank reports. Investors from the USA and Russia lead in investments in Montenegro’s economy — €8.5 million and €3.7 million, respectively. The UK ranks third (€3.3 million). The list of foreign investors includes representatives from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, Switzerland, the UAE, and Ukraine. Source.
