According to the latest data from the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO), as of the end of July there are 140,000 registered tourists in the country, which is ten times more than for the same period in 2020.

The data was commented on by Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović. According to him, the largest number of tourists is in the coastal city of Budva — 47,000, or nine times more than in 2020.

“Next is Ulcinj with 30,000, which is 12 times more than last year. In Herceg Novi there are about 27,000 tourists, which is nine times more than last year, in Bar — 15,000 (also 9 times more), in Kotor — about 9,000 (12 times more), and in Tivat — about 8,000 (nine times more),” Milatović stated.
