The amount of investment in Montenegrin square meters decreased by 6.6% compared to 2018, the country's Central Bank reports. Local companies and banks received 242.3 million euros. As a result, 412.3 million euros were invested in the share capital of Montenegrin enterprises and organizations (53.6% of the total amount). Last year, 321.7 million euros went to investments in the form of intercompany debt (41.8%). The total inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Montenegrin economy amounted to 769.9 million euros, while capital outflow was 425.2 million euros. As a result, net FDI inflow reached 344.7 million euros, which is 6.9% more than in 2018. Source.
