In the near future, the municipality of Bar will receive a luxury five-star hotel. The amount of investment over three years will total 150 million euros. The project, with a total area of 120,000 square meters, will be implemented by the Ukrainian-Montenegrin company Liko Soho Group. Upon completion, 1,000 to 1,200 jobs will be created. The project includes the construction of a five-star hotel and a residential section with full supporting infrastructure. According to the project approved by the city architect, the hotel will have around 300 residential units, 5 restaurants, a café-bar, spa, game room, casino, and retail area. The founder and president of the Ukrainian company Liko Holding and investor in the project, Igor Lisov, said that construction will begin in the last quarter of this year. According to Lisov, this project is interesting both from an architectural point of view and in terms of attracting investment to this region. In addition to this project, Lisov spoke with representatives of the municipality of Bar about a public-private partnership, so investment in sports infrastructure is also planned, primarily through the construction of a swimming pool.

“It is very important that the younger generation has the opportunity to develop through sports. This speaks to the health of the nation, the future of the state, and I am very glad that we have found common ground with the president of the Bar Association. In addition to this complex, we will also build a water park, where there will be sports bases for various water sports,” Lisov said, adding that the implementation of this project will make Bar a more economically attractive city.

For 30 years, Lisov headed a company that implemented a number of projects in Ukraine, such as the construction of schools, kindergartens, medical and sports facilities. His company is recognized as a leader among construction and development companies and is a laureate of Ukraine's most prestigious construction award, “IBuild.” During the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Lisov donated 50,000 euros to the National Coordinating Body for Infectious Diseases.
