Montenegro’s total foreign trade volume for the period from January 1 to September 30, 2021, according to preliminary data, amounted to 2.130 billion euros, which indicates an increase of 17.1 percent compared to the same period last year, the statistical agency saidMonstat.
“Goods exports amounted to 302 million euros, while imports totaled 1.8281 billion euros. Compared with the same period last year, exports were higher by 18.7 percent, and imports by 16.8 percent. Import coverage by exports stood at 16.5 percent, up from the same period last year, when it was 16.3 percent,” the agency said.
The largest foreign trade partners in exports are: Serbia (78 million euros), Switzerland (24.5 million euros) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (23.3 million euros).
The largest foreign trade partners in imports are: Serbia (368.9 million euros), China (179.2 million euros) and Germany (168.4 million euros).
