New 100 and 200 Euro Banknotes Will Appear in Montenegro

The new banknotes will fit more easily into citizens’ wallets, notes Euronews. And ATMs will be able to process them faster. The length of the banknotes remains the same. The color has also not changed: the 100-euro note remains greenish, and the 200-euro note yellowish-brown. However, the new money is equipped with additional security features that can only be read by a machine. On the right side of the note are a large euro symbol, an architectural motif, and a holographic image of the heroine of ancient Greek mythology Europa — the daughter of the Phoenician king Agenor.
