Continuation of the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway from the Montenegrin port to the southern border with Serbia may begin in two years, the company Monteput said.
The company said that by the end of 2022, conceptual designs for two sections connected to the existing one, from Smokovac to Mateševo, will be completed.
The Analitika portal пишет that these are the Mateševo — Andrijevica and Smokovac — Farmaci sections.
According to earlier information, the Mateševo — Andrijevica motorway section should be about 23.5 kilometers long. According to preliminary estimates released in July by the Ministry of Capital Investments, construction of this section will cost more than 550 million euros.
On the other hand, the section from Smokovac to Farmaka is in fact a bypass around Podgorica, and its total length is about 18 kilometers. Cost estimates for the construction of this section have not been announced recently. The specificity of this section compared with others is that almost the entire route will be laid in the immediate vicinity of settlements in the suburban area of Podgorica.
