The price of a pack of cigarettes may be about 30 euro cents higher from July 1, a liter of carbonated drinks will become 12 euro cents more expensive, a kilogram of sweets by 72 euro cents, and alcoholic beverages by 7–15 cents, depending on the type and alcohol content. From July 1, employees with high salaries will pay higher taxes. To implement these measures, amendments to the laws on excise duties, personal income, and mandatory contributions must be adopted.
