The Government of Montenegro has adopted three support programmes of the Ministry of Economic Development, aimed at improving the business environment for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and artisans, and at making the greatest possible contribution to the development of the processing industry, in the total amount of 5.2 million euros.
This package of programmes, as announced by Minister Jakov Milatović, provides for a higher percentage of non-repayable support for companies operating in less developed municipalities, with an emphasis on the northern region.
“Recognizing the needs of the economy, as well as the importance of these sectors for the prosperous development of Montenegro’s economy, the Ministry of Economic Development has created support programmes for this year with significantly larger funds, which will improve the overall business environment and encourage further recovery and economic development. Public calls for participation in all programmes will be announced in early March, specifying the basic information, conditions and application procedure, deadlines and other relevant information,” the statement said.
